Noche is a 25-year-old black Mustang who stands just above the threshold for being considered a pony, but don’t let his size or age fool you—Noche is extremely quick and sharp. He even knows tricks! He can bow, paw, and Spanish Walk.
Noche is lucky to live in one of the loveliest properties I’ve had the pleasure of visiting in Los Angeles. Tucked away in Sylmar, the property looks more like a nursery than a horse ranch. In true Southern California style, palm trees line the roads into and through the property. From antique tractors and hay bales to California pepper trees and mountain views, we had a stunning location for Christina and Noche’s horse and rider photography session.
Christina has owned Noche for ten years, and the bond that has grown between them in that time is obvious. He loves to nuzzle and cuddle her and is so attentive when she speaks to him. Noche is one of the sweetest horses I’ve met, and I’m so glad I was able to capture the connection that these two share!
